Destination Management Plan
The Destination Management Plan (2014) identifies ten strategic development themes, twelve priority projects and over 120 destination development opportunities across the Goulburn River Valley region that have potential economic and tourism benefit to the region.
It also sets out a strategic framework to strengthen the Goulburn River Valley region including a call for much needed regional recognition.
Over 120 destination development opportunities are identified in the Destination Management Plan, twelve of which are Priority Projects each with the capacity to act as catalyst game changers for the region. The Investment Prospectus (2014) details each of these twelve priority projects.
The Goulburn River Valley Investment Prospectus sets out the project overview, rational, required action and estimated investment impacts for each initiative.
The 2011-2016 Goulburn River Valley Tourism Development Plan (2011) highlights 44 strategies that will be focused on under categories including product development, infrastructure development, industry support and development and administration and monitoring.
A founding document of Goulburn River Valley Tourism at time of establishment, the Tourism Development Plan has largely been superseded by the Destination Management Plan (2014).
