Visitation Statistics

Goulburn River Valley Tourism collects quarterly visitation statistics for the region.

Statistics are collected and collated through National Visitor Survey (NVS) and Tourism Research Australia (TRA) data, consistent with methods of tracking visitation throughout Australia.

This information allows Goulburn River Valley Tourism to track visitation in our region and compare us with other regions throughout Australia.
 

Quarterly Visitation Statistics

Statistics collected track the domestic daytrip, domestic overnight and international overnight travel to the Goulburn River Valley region.

It also highlights the length of stay, market share, purpose of visit, age of visitors, lifecycle, activities undertaken and the accommodation visitors intend to use.

The data collected helps Goulburn River Valley Tourism understand our current and potential visitors and communicate this with our industry.
